SAMI is composed of mini-games designed to enhance the various skills involved in early childhood development. The games have levels to smoothly increase the challenge and allow children to reinforce what they have learned. The design of the four games used in SAMI takes the classical Montessori method as reference for the use of different colours, tuned according to the notes in the major diatonic scale.

Activity 1: Find SAMI's note

Musical notes with Sami(圖5)-速報App

In this activity, a big SAMI appears in the centre of the screen with a different colour for each note, and the name written in his "belly". Each time the child touches the big SAMI, there is a musical note that must be matched with the tiny SAMI in the sidebar, who slides vertically, up and down, and produces different sounds and changes colours to match the notes.

Activity 3: Catch a SAMI

SAMI is displayed on a musical staff. The child has to touch it at the speed it is shown, which becomes faster over time.

Activity 4: Composing with SAMI

This activity allows creating a musical piece by moving SAMIs along one line of intonation and listening to the composition.
